The journey

From frustration to a new kind of platform

Taskyro began with frustration. Seeing people struggle to find reliable help and seeing skilled workers lose too much of their income to high platform fees. It felt like there had to be a better way for Australians to support each other.

One person decided to create that alternative. Late nights learning, early mornings testing flows and constant refinement. Every part of this first version has been personally used and tested before reaching anyone else.

This release is the result of hundreds of hours of focused work and many conversations with people in Sydney who shared what felt confusing, unfair or missing in other marketplaces.

Would I feel good using this if I needed help and wanted to avoid paying a high platform fee? Would I feel respected using this if I was doing the work and helping build a stronger community?

These two questions guide every release of Taskyro and every improvement we make.
