Taskyro is designed so clients and partners can communicate safely inside the app. 1) Keep all communication inside Taskyro chat. This keeps a clear record if there is ever a dispute or safety concern. 2) Avoid sharing unnecessary personal details such as full home address before an offer is accepted. Share only what is needed to complete the task. 3) Never send passwords, banking logins or one-time codes through chat. 4) Be cautious of anyone asking you to move the conversation to another app or platform. 5) If a message makes you feel uncomfortable, stop responding and let us know. Most people on Taskyro are genuine, but scams can exist on any online platform. Warning signs to watch for: - Requests to pay outside Taskyro, such as direct bank transfer or cash before the job. - Offers that sound too good to be true or pricing that is unusually low for the work involved. - Requests for your banking details, one-time codes or personal documents. - Links to suspicious websites that do not match Taskyro or known providers. To stay safe: - Keep all payments on Taskyro so the escrow system can protect you. - Communicate inside the app so we can support you if something goes wrong. - If you see something suspicious in Sydney, the Eastern Suburbs or anywhere else, stop and report it. Taskyro is a marketplace, so it is important to apply the same common-sense precautions you would use with any in-person service.

Your safety always comes before finishing a task.

If you experience or witness behaviour that feels unsafe, we want to hear about it. 1) If anyone is in immediate danger, contact emergency services first. 2) Once safe, email a clear summary of the situation to report@taskyro.com.au. 3) Include your Taskyro account details, the other user’s profile, the task details and any screenshots or evidence. 4) Our team will review your report and may take actions such as warnings, suspensions or removal. This applies to tasks and interactions everywhere we operate, including Sydney and the Eastern Suburbs.

If at any time you or someone else is in immediate danger during a task, your first step is always to contact local emergency services. 1) In Australia, call triple zero (000) for urgent police, fire or ambulance assistance. 2) Move to a safe location as soon as it is possible to do so. 3) Once everyone is safe, you can notify Taskyro about what happened so we can review the task and the users involved. Taskyro is not an emergency service. This applies whether you are in Sydney CBD, the Eastern Suburbs or any other area.
